We are part of the Church of England in the Diocese of Carlisle.
Sadly, due to current advice from the Church of England in response to the Corona virus, there will be no Sunday services at St George’s Church or St Aidan’s Church in Barrow.
We are using Facebook as the primary communication channel during this period. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to ‘Like’ our Facebook page, using the link below:
We plan to produce a weekly video, which will be available to view from 9.30am each Sunday, featuring messages and prayers from Reverend Carl Harding.
This must be a distressing and confusing time for many. We encourage and urge you all to pray and worship often, on your own, with members of your household if that’s appropriate, with friends by phone, social media and other means.
We also encourage you to keep an eye on your neighbours and those around. If you possibly can, please donate to the Foodbank and to other organisations helping the most desperate and most vulnerable.
